Yes, I checked the other thread where it said: to click the work tab then right-click the project And then click "Show graphics". It doesn't work. I have the screensaver in the display properties, set to run BOINC in one minute. When the screensaver starts to run it says: BOINC screensaver loading, please wait... and then the screen turns black and stays black. I checked through the frequently asked questions section and a dozen forum threads with no luck.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
THANX
Randy

I uninstalled that and installed version 4.25. The BOINC manager shows that "einstein 4.79" is the application. It has run for 2hr and shows 20% comp.

Is this your thread, Timmy? ;)
I was just calling it to Randy, as someone else with almost the same problems fixed it with a reboot.

Yes, Captain Avatar, I
)
Yes, Captain Avatar, I rebooted the computer a couple of times, this did not help. I also uninstalled and reinstalled the Einstein at home software, this did not work either. I was a little bit concerned because the newest version is 4.25, but the BOINC manager says the application is Einstein 4.79. I also had the other problems, when I tried to cut and paste the project URL and the account key from the e-mail that was sent. The account key pasted fine, but the URL kept coming up with validation conflict errors like: "does not start with HTTP://" and: "no URL supplied" that finally worked after a dozen different attempts.
I am looking forward to hearing some new ideas
Randy
Hold on, the newest version
)
Hold on, the newest version may be 4.25, but that is an Alpha/Beta version. It may not show the graphics correctly.
If you want the graphics or screensaver to do what they should, your best bet is still BOINC CC 4.19, which is the latest standard version.
Even then you are dependent on good drivers for your videocard. I know the Radeon 9800 supports OpenGL, but it all depends on which drivers you have installed for it. If the Catalysts 4.9 to 5.2, let's say it's okay.

If E@H graphics works under 4.19 and does NOT work under 4.25, please report this on the BOINC bugs page http://bbugs.axpr.net/

Thanks for your help and ideas. I uninstalled version 4.25 and reinstalled version 4.19, and it worked this time. The graphics and screensaver are working fine, plus it saved the work in progress with five hours of CPU time.
Thanx
