I just attached one more computer to EAH which didn't have BOINC (4.19) at all yet.
After the benchmark it contacted the project but couldn't receive the scheduler reply (no scheduler responded).
One minute later it contacted the scheduler again - successful this time - received work and it's working now.
But it seems the scheduler did reply the first time already, just the client had a too short timeout, it wasn't patient enough. I found the computer listed twice with 6 different work units each, create time different by exactly 1 minute. I merged the two but of course from those 12 "starter" WUs it will return only the 6 it actually received.
There might be a handshake confirm / acknowledge missing too as the 6 WUs that never arrived are still listed on the host that never has been fully created.
Not a problem for me and 4.19 is not the latest BOINC either - I just thought I'd mention it here.
Might be related to http://einsteinathome.org/node/188332 but it's a first time install in this case.
This one sounds similar too : http://einsteinathome.org/node/188165
It seems to be a combination of both problems so they are probably related.
