For some reason, I have two old workunits with pending status. Why was no credit given?

Tasks have to be validated between at least 2 people. Neither of the older results have another person in addition to you that has submitted a successful completion of the two results...

Pending status simply means that you are still waiting for someone else to complete the task so that the validity of the answers can be checked. You cannot get confirmed credit until the result is validated.
This workunit shows three computers as having been involved. If your computer is the one listed as "pending" (can't be sure because your computers are hidden), then it is still pending because neither of the other two have returned their answers yet. It's quite possible that a 4th computer might have to get involved as the 3rd one will go past the deadline soon now.
This is your full list of tasks but because you have your computers hidden nobody else but you can see them.

Actually, the results list by userid like that can only be seen by computers with an active login for the userid in question... My computers aren't hidden, but you should get "no access" if you try to look at my results
If you don't get the big ole' "no access" page, that would be interesting to note...
The way that I'm aware of for others to view a complete result list is to actually go by the computer list, like this, and that does require the computers to be shown and not hidden...

Thanks for pointing that out as it's something I was quite unaware of. I didn't bother with cutting and pasting the results list URL since I'm lazy and it wasn't clickable and I could already see (by clicking his name) that his computers were hidden and that the URL would therefore fail anyway :).

OK, your computer is visible now and the two older pendings you were asking about will eventually be validated and credit granted when a second computer sends back a completed result for each one. In the meantime you'll just have to be patient :).

There is no problem - everything is perfectly normal.
Please read Brian's and my earlier responses. You have to wait for a "wingman" to also complete and submit the result. Unfortunately, for various reasons, people aren't always prompt in doing that. Sometimes you may need several wingmen before one finally delivers a good result.
