"2/12/2010 3:35:03 PM Einstein@Home Message from server: Your computer has no NVIDIA GPU"
I get this message each time I update. I am quite aware that I do not have an nVidia GPU and I wonder why I've been getting this message. I get ample WU's for processing anyway so I don't understand it.

Just ignore this. It's juat saying that you won't be able to use the CUDA apps, that's all.

I do ignore it, I was just curious as to why I get the message. On my other PC (which does have an nVidia card...though not CUDA ready) I don't get the message. Oh well.

The Client probably detects a GPU (ATI then) and requests GPU work from the server. The server responds that it has GPU work, but only for NVidia GPUs, so it's not sending GPU work to that machine and gives the reason why. This is the message you see.

If you had a video card with PGU you could have more fun getting more than ( in my case )4 processed running at the same time you might squeeze out 6 or so perhaps more depending on your GPU memory. So go goolish and get a GPU
