Hi. I am running on version 6.2.19 and I have noticed...looking at the BOINC Manager messages that I haven't been, or at least right now, not receiving new tasks. Did something happen??

Hi!
Do you happen to use a Beta app for the S5R4 run, installed manually with aan app_info.xml file in the BOINC projects/einstein.phys.uwm directory?
The S5R4 run was replaced with the S5R5 run recently and you need to uninstall the beta test app to get new work for S5R5, as the beta app prevents the automatic update mechanism to work.
To deinstall the beta app, simply a) stop BOINC, delete the app_info.xml file mentioned above and c) restart BOINC. BOINC will then automatically reload the latest S5R5 apps.

Not in all cases... it's best to stop BOINC, delete the app_info.xml file, then restart BOINC, then do a project reset. This clears any entries of the optimized application from the client_state.xml file as well, so BOINC won't go and try to download the 6.09 application from the Einstein server again.
You are correct about me using a Beta app when S5R4 was happening (I think). I installed beta 6.09 a couple of months ago. So, I did exactly like you suggested. I'll let you know what happened. Stay tuned!

Unfortunately, I am still not receiving new tasks. Perhaps Ageless was right. I'll give that a try.

So how long does Boinc think it will take you to crunch the task you have right now? LOTS of people have had problems with the DCF, Boinc thinking it will take 100 hours, or whatever, when actually it usually only takes 3 hours! This would also prevent you from downloading any new units.
When I did a project reset, THEN, I started crunching on new tasks. Thanks everyone!

Please let us know if this worked,
