I have a similar problem to another thread on this board but I could not resolve it. It won't download any work because it says I do not have any disk space. I have already "cleared" it and updated so it is using the web preferences. Here are the messages:

Here are my preferences:
Use at most 10 GB disk space
Leave at least
(Values smaller than 0.001 are ignored) 0.1 GB disk space free
Use at most 50% of total disk space
Write to disk at most every 60 seconds
I am running fedora 8 linux. The hard drive is a WD Raptor 74 GB with 15GB free. I appreciate any help with trying to get my boinc working again.

No Disk Space

You tell BOINC to use at maximum 50% of total disk space. That's 37GB, which you do not have. So increase the percentage to something more around the space you do have. 90% or so.

I think 9.31GiB should be enough. Why should BOINC asc for additional 34GiB?

I tried all kinds of settings

I tried all kinds of settings including the 90% and none of them work. Any other ideas?
In the "Expert mode", Boinc

In the "Expert mode", Boinc manager will display two pie charts representing how it is seeing the total disk usage and the disk usage by the different BOINC projects. Select the rightmost tab "Disk". It would be informative to know what BOINC displays there, and how it compares to the actual situation on your disks (welkl, I guess only the disk on which the BOINC data directory resides really matters).

The pie charts show:
Left- free disk space- 15.28 GB, used by BOINC 8.93 MB, used by other programs 49.68 GB
right- einstein@home - 0 bytes (I reset this project, but 0 is still strange)
seti@home - 113.76 KB
I have no clue what the issue is. I updated everything linux-wise such as kernel (2.6.26.5-28.fc8) and everything. I then updated both seti and einstein. Then reset both. I then deleted my boinc folders in home, uninstalled and reinstalled BOINC. Neither of them will get work. Still showing the error from the first message. I appreciate the help.
I am running BOINC version 6.2.15, I noticed today that the BOINC Manager at the top has: BOINC Manager (Pre-release)
I'm not sure if that is bad.
