Just after the recovery there have been numerous validation errors involving any of my boxes. Seems there were some problems with results uploaded prior and reported after the crash.
Maybe it can be corrected by the admins, or (if the results are already deleted or were corrupted due to the crash) we just have to accept the loss of some credits (500-700 in my case) and that these results have to be recalculated. Could be the only practical way.
I have a number of "validate errors" on multiple hosts just after the server recovery. One host has been having problems, but I just noticed the same errors on stable hosts. Something may be amiss here.
The credits aren't a big deal for me (well I care a little :-) ), but something seems to have gone awry. I keep thinking about what might be failing in my computers and it bugs me :-)
"leks said: 5.10.45 is in error - erases the results when you try upload, when the project down."
Actually I think BOINC (both 5 and 6) gives you 2 weeks before it gives up. I didn't see any deletions on my 5.10.45 hosts. They seemed to upload and report just fine, but the validator (in a couple of instances) decided not to like what I sent. I have other BOINC 5.10.45 hosts that reported and got credit shortly after the outage. I'm tempted to blame the upload server immediately after the crash. That would explain what I'm seeing.
my task (see above) disappeared from the pending credits, but the WU cannot be found. Are there granted any credits or is the WU gone in a large black-hole called fileserver-crash?

The latter, but don't despair, E@H is usually the most stable project there is.

The problem is entirely the version of your BOINC client. Read this message or better still the entire thread right from the beginning if you want to know the gory details.
No credits for "validate error" WU?

Hi,
same here.
Don't know if the result is really invalid, or there is a validator issue.

It won't be deletions but permanent upload errors with BOINC between 5.10.21 and 5.10.45. See Validate errors from the time of the previous outage.

I´m far away from despair. I´m crunching for so long and I suffered a lot. But I will keep the electrons rotating. :-)
