Is this guy correct? Or nearly so? I came over here when SETI shut down and soon went only GPU work since the CPU stuff ran so l-o-o-o-n-g and produced so little credit vs. the GPU stuff.
So I have two NVIDIA machines ready to work (2x1080ti hybrids and 2080ti + 3080ti hybrid) but soon no work????
Too bad, as the O3AS stuff produced nice RAC; I could go back to Meerkat, of course, but now looking for something new to try out.
Are there any other GPU streams here? Or are there any other BOINC GPU heavy duty projects that I might want to look at?
You can try to crunch BRP7 or BRP4G. But they don’t run on my equipment, not so well as O3AS. And I believe there will be a successor for O3AS soon. Normally one get 5K Cobblestone/task for O3AS. The 10K are just intermittent as an appetizer. I hope for some official reaction soon.

You can also do MooWrapper, Asteroids or Ammicable Numbers with both of the gpu's. Gerasim has gpu tasks as well but their website isn't easy to figure out as they seem to have their settings backwards. And of course there's always PrimeGrid. World Community Grid has gpu tasks sometimes and Universe should again in a couple months once they come back up again after their Chief Scientist passed away and the new one is taking over.
Universe has never had a GPU application. CPU only.

Separate preferences for work
Resource share

Use CPU
Use AMD GPU
Run test applications?
Run only the selected applications
Universe ULX: yes
Universe QuarkStars: yes
Universe BHspin v2: no
Universe Ultraviolet reionization: yes
Black Hole Database: yes
Neutron Star and Black Hole formation: yes
If no work for selected applications is available, accept work from other applications?

The 2080 Ti and 3080 Ti hybrids will work at GPUGrid on the ATM GPU tasks. No Windows app just yet for the Quantum Chemistry tasks.
I've been successful with my 2080 Ti on both as I run Linux which has apps for both types of tasks.
