"We are currently finishing "tail" of current study, that is, resubmitting work until every workunit has been processed.

After that there will be a short break (week or so) and then about one million new workunits (which makes about five million results) will be submitted.

news from LHC forum

I am keen to volunteer for L@H but currently get a message saying the project has sufficient beta testers.

It would be great if they could publish a rough estimate timescale for when the doors will be re-opened. Should I be looking at their website weekly, monthly, or a few times a year?

It would also be even better if they could implement a declaration of interest page for those wishing to get an email alert when they are ready to use more donated resources. It would also give them a reliable lower estimate of the amount of interest in their project so that they know how big a rush to plan for, and would let them phase in the rush by phasing the emails if the 'waiting list' is longer than they can cope with.

As you have access to the L@H forums (and I don't seem to at present) it would be great if you could copy my comments to their forum as it could be useful feedback to their project.
