I noticed a white "L" shape in the Einstein@Home screen saver. It looks south of the red "L" (GEO600). Could it be the "AURIGA" observatory in Italy?

More likely the Virgo. Auriga is not an interferometer.

Ah yes, thank you. Google Earth shows these large L-shaped interferometers quite clearly.
