Since at least 3/11, when I attempt to connect to Einstein to report a couple completed work units, boinc tells me...
update requested by user
sending schedule: requested by user
reporting 2 completed tasks, requesting new tasks
project communication failed: attempting access to reference site
scheduler request failed: failure when receiving data from peer
internet access OK project servers may be temporarily down
Occasionally during the time when that happens, I will also get messages that say...
fetching scheduler list
master file download succeeded.
Any clues as to why I can't send results?
Thanks!
Bruce

Nothing, that I'm aware of... And a chat with our network admin says the same, nothing that he's aware of.
Realizing full well that they talk to different servers, seti and milkyway are not demonstrating the problem.

Hmmmm... Don't know if it's

Hmmmm... Don't know if it's relevant, but it seems like too much of a coincidence to ignore...
On further investigation and probing the deep dark recesses of my (occasionally feeble) mind, on 3/9, my machine was inadvertently time-warped to 8/9. On 3/11 it was brought back to the present.
Unfortunately, it did not bring back any financial information from the future so I can't retire early as a result of the time warp :-(

That could cause problems
)
That could cause problems with work fetch/deadlines/scheduling, but not with Internet connections.
You could try the logging flags mentioned in message "No new jobs" and the http_1_0 "trick".

I did not see it listed but I am guessing you have rebooted the pc during this process? Sometimes the project moves its DNS and a simple reboot finds it again, I do not know more about this process but do know it just works sometimes.
