My machine (ID: 12094051) suffered a terminal hdd failure which has resulted in me unable to finish a number of tasks as a result. Is it possible these can be reallocated to others as they are deadlined for March 12th?

Need to abort tasks due to hdd failure

There are 17 Tasks that errored out on this machine. They will be sent out to other participants (actually they already are). See e.g. this one.

It's not the error tasks but

It's not the error tasks but rather the other 15 that are still listed as 'in progress'.

@ MalcolmT,
I'm very sorry for your disk failure. Thank you for your consideration of the 'in progress' tasks. There is nothing that needs to be done as the system will take care of them in due course. The main reason for high-lighting the handling of surplus tasks is that some people change their mind about crunching but don't return the unwanted tasks. Where possible (ie. not your case) we ask people to abort and return before disconnecting, just so that the unwanted tasks can be reissued immediately.

Cheers,
Gary.
