How can you tell your rank is? I realize my 3,000 or so credits aren't burning up the charts, but I'm still curious if I've broken into the Top 50,000 or whatever.

There is a third party stat site called "boincstats", and you you click here you'll see many stats about yourself (if this is your account at boincstats). Or you can go back to the Einstein main page and then click on "top participants" and search those pages for your total credit, or your RAC.
You can always add a "signature" to your "message board" preferences (under "your account"), One such signature would look like the following:

I belong to boinc synergy and my signature looks like this:

There is one other stat site and then many other teams also have signatures too ...
Look at other people's signatures to see which ones you like and then look up the web site.
At the moment, the BOINC Synergy signature, for me, it the only one that seems to have *MY* stats right because of a little mix-up at WCG ... so, try out several ... if you are on two or three projects, try one on each and then finally decide on which one you like.
I hate the Synergy "ET" guy at the side, but, BOINC Stats whose signature I would and usually do use is displaying my WCG stats wrong ... The third site seemed to display slowly ... may have been something else, but, my 2 cents, the choice ... is up to you .... :)

This is really helpful. I like the signature graphic idea. I was wondering how everyone did that. I need to think about how I want to do my signature again. But I really like my sig now and think it's incredibly funny/clever (even if nobody else does). I spent days and days working on it (not really) I only have "1 character" left due to all the coding/tags for the fonts, etc.

Well, you can probably keep most of it ...
Many of the signature strings are not that long ...

this may be slightly off topic...
How is recent average credit calculated, any info? It appears to be determining the rank of the "top computers" listed on this web site.
