since I installed the new software some weeks ago, my account doesn't run. I had a look at "results for users" and I noticed that under "Outcome" was always written "client error" What' wrong?

The error is from Windows, it says the application didn't start properly.
Do any other messages show up in the BOINC log along with the exit code 128?

I had a similar experience nearly two months ago. I upgraded from BOINC 4.19 to BOINC 4.45, and after the upgrade, nearly all my results were rejected with Client error Computing messages. I found out that Einstein 4.79 is not totally compatible with BOINC 4.45 and that there is a "graphics" bug related to running the two. Symptoms include Client error Computing problems. Anyway, I changed to the Beta Application and I haven't had a problem since. You might want to check it out (see link under More Information on the E@H home page). A word of caution: Is your graphics card driver up to date? Apparently there have been problems with older drivers.
