More control would be nice. Such as GPU control right now all we seem to have is use while computer is being used. Control like which GPU of 2 or more and like suspend 1 GPU not all. Maybe if possible how much of GPU to use as well. Just my thoughts on what would be nice.

There is a bit more but have not taken the time to sit down and think it all out yet might post more later.

More Control

Control is what the BOINC client is there for. Project Devs tend to work with whatever 'control' is provided by BOINC. Sometimes, when special features that don't yet exist are required by a particular project, project Devs may work with BOINC Devs (and others) to implement it. For E@H, Locality Scheduling (the heart of any GW search so far) is a classic example. More recent examples would be the various GPU apps at various projects that have required extensive and ongoing BOINC development.

But have you actually fully investigated the extensive control that is already available through the BOINC client configuration file cc_config.xml? Try a search on 'boinc client configuration' and the top hit will take you here. Many of the things you mention are already implemented.

Cheers,
Gary.

Ah ok how about without having to use the config file... :P lol thanks Gary for some reason I am finding it a bit hard to search or maybe not sure of the wording of it... but that does help thanks much on the link... Now time to sit down and read and try new things lol cheers :)

Edit: also bookmarked that link :) sorry I am not that advanced yet but give me time I am working on it :)
