500 million? Very sweet! It's really cool to be able to support the project. And it was a lot of fun to attend the LIGO presentation in Seattle last month, too
Ah sheeeesh I forgot about that........I have lived within 40 miles of Seattle for almost 59 years now
My first cruncher today past 100m a few minutes ago ... started life in 2012 as a i3-530 with one GTX-480, then another GTX-480 was found and second hand i7-860 replaced it a few months ago. Squeezed in another 4g of RAM so it can handle some fast GW tasks (and not be slow!). Oiled the fan. I think it's time for an OS / boinc refresh as a reward.
Oh and slipped past 250m a few days back so double milestone.
