Rank 99 project wide. My first time breaking into the double digits club.

It looks like I've got a decent chance of holding onto the spot. Boincstats lists me as 69 overall by RAC, and suggests I should overtake 8 more people in the next 3 months, without anyone passing me by. OTOH it's getting warmer and this is my first year with 3 GPU boxes; I might shut down the oldest to save on the AC bill. On the gripping hand I'll probably be buying a GTX 1080 for my gaming box; and end up pushing my lesser cards down the line for a performance bumps all around.

Dan, Nice work on that! I am curious to see how the 1080 runs with this project.

Half of my GPUs are off due to summer, but waiting for Polaris and hoping its power efficiency will sustain the heat..

Congratulations! I also run into heat issues in the summer time with systems running in the garage.

Thanks guys. Actually I

Thanks guys.
Actually I haven't paid for most of the HW I have, but various companies are sending me the latest stuff for testing and supporting. I'd never buy so many Xeons or a Tesla.. So to pay it back and make it useful, I run BOINC :-)

I've got most machines in my office, which is at the top of a building (beneath the roof) and no A/C. This place can get pretty hot in summer. So it's not just about machines getting overheated, but me too. In the summer the temps inside my office are ~ outside. So I need to switch off most of them, otherwise I would die here ;-)
I'll be also upgrading my CPUs (to Xeons mostly) + new GPUs, so I hope when I fully come back in autumn, the power (and efficiency) will be much better :-)

Eight years crunching for

Eight years crunching for Einstein at home completed, reached 19 064 994 points. Advanced Ligo started with a big success, that is very encouraging for the work of so many people. I think the next months will bring further discoveries, its an exciting time for science.

So am I. Based on specsheet improvements I'm expecting my 135k/day host to become an ~180k host; with hardware trickledown effects gaining me a net ~100k/day; or allowing my RAC to stay even with my oldest box in summer standby. Real world variability is probably good for 20% or so on those projections in either direction.
