I have been getting this kind of sequence for the past few days. There is no indication of any server errors.
Any ideas? Here is one example:

I solved mine by going to

I solved mine by going to Einstein@Home preferences, editing them, taking the check off of "Arecibo Binary Pulsar Search" (the only one that can be edited), save changes and do an update. It stopped bugging me with the message and sent me "Hierarchical S5 all-sky GW" tasks ever since.

This message is kind of annoying, but as you can see in the log section from the original poster, it doesn't mean that you are not getting work (in the example, the server delivers one new task and then issues this misleading warning). So unless you really want to quit the pulsar search for a different reason, I would not recommend de-selecting the pulsar search in the preferences.
