The way your computer contacts the schedulers has changed from using method POST to method GET. BOINC uses POST to contact the schedulers, the schedulers get a GET result from you, which is usually used by a browser.
So something did change on your computer, if it worked before and now out of the blue it doesn't. I'll ask one of the BOINC developers what could make this change and get back at you.

Is there something I can do to change it back to POST?
I wonder if this is the root of the problem which has also affected others?
If I was to uninstall BOINC, remove all trace of previous files and folders and clean the registry and then reinstall would that clear it? I would rather not as almost all of my Projects have completed their WU's.

Would using BAM have caused the change from POST to GET? The problem started about the time I added BAM as an Account Manager. I have since removed the service.

You can backup the BOINC Data directory, then uninstall BOINC and delete everything, also clean out the registry. Then put the backup back and reinstall BOINC while pointing to the data directory.
But I don't think this will fix it. I haven't heard back from the developers yet, then again, it's weekend.
I also don't think BAM has anything to do with it. That doesn't change the way BOINC contacts schedulers.
By the way, how did you disable BAM? As as far as I know, when you detach from BAM, it will detach you from all the projects you are attached to, thereby losing all work that's ready to report.

There was a selection under the Advanced Tab to Discontinue Using BAM.
OK, edit the cc_config.xml file (you made it for the HTTP 1.0 option) so it looks like this:

save it in your BOINC Data directory. Restart BOINC. Make contact with a couple of projects and post the messages from it here in this window. Alternatively, you can email me the log, if you don't want to give out your IP address to everyone around here (as that may show in the messages). I'll PM you my email address.

Jord,
I have made the changes and emailed you the resulting message list.
Finally the log was in and I forwarded it to one of the developers. I didn't see why it was getting that message. Let's wait and see if he does. It's possible he emails you directly.

Nothing yet, so either extremely slow email, or I or you made a typo. ;-)
