well.... they will kind of merge themselves... in an odd kind of way.. but not really!
If you use the same Email address for both of the accounts, the servers will (eventually!) sync their Cross-Project IDs (CPID) for your 2 accounts. This means that your 2 accounts will be known to belong to the one person.
While this will never, for example, combine all you Credit from SETI to Einstein, it will allow you to do things like get compined stats, check overall rank etc all based on your unique CPID.
Not quite what you were asking for but maybe can provide you with what you need?

Don't Do That!!!
You have to attach with the ID sent to you via email.
A CPID will be created by every project from your email adress (case sensitive, i.e. is not the same as ) and your account ID (20707 in your case).
To get the same CPID for all project, you have to run every project somehow together with others on the same machine. Best is all on one for at least a minimum time, and update all of them manually.

Not necessarily true.
ex: you attach one machine to SETI and Einstein. Then attach a second host to Einstein and Protien Preditor. Now, assuming you use the same Email address for each account on the three projects (maybe case sensitive - i didn't know that), they will eventually sync with the same CPID. My understanding of it is that there needs to be a 'path' via your different hosts linking each of the projects.
When attaching the project in BOINC, you must attach it using the account ID sent in email from the project not your CPID. This will be different for each project and will not sync with the CPID (as far as I can see anyway!). The CPID will sync themselves... you don't need to worry about that part.

OK, that's what I meant with 'somehow together' ;)
Merge different BOINC accounts
)
No, they're two completely different projects. True, they both use the BOINC software to run but so do other projects as well.

BTW:
A good manual for Boinc is Paul D. Bucks BOINC Powered Projects Documentation and his FAQ therein.

But you described it better!
