I had been running BIONIC on MacOSX 10.3.9. I checked it yesterday and no work was getting done. I checked the web site, and saw no outstanding issues. My stats show that my last activity was 9 Feb.
I have downloaded 5.2.13, installed/updated and rebooted. Still no connection. Any help would be great.

Your results page does show some issues: the last four results you submitted, on 9 February, had errors. It looks like something broke as soon as (or before) crunching started, as they all show zero processing time. The last good one was on the 6th--thus the last time you received any credit.

Can you post some log excerpts? (I won't know what to make of them, but someone else here probably will.) Can you think of any installations or changes on your system between 6 and 9 Feb.? Have you verified/repaired permissions recently?

I don't believe installing & updating will necessarily clear corrupt files from your BOINC Data folder (if that's the problem). If all else fails, detach from the project and reattach. (Rebooting in between is probably a good idea.) But the WUs you've cached may be salvageable, so detaching should be the last resort.

From looking at the results

From looking at the results that errored, this looks like a permissions problem. Is the BOINC Data directory in the "(root)/Library/Applications Support/" or in a "/users/(user)/Library/Applications Support/" directory. If it's in a user's directory, are you running it as the same user as it was installed with? Make sure you have read/write permissions in the BOINC Data directory where it's installed.

OK, here is an update.

OK, here is an update. Einstein is crunching. SETI is have comm problems. I hope it is not me. I will see if the ripples from backup go away in an hour or so.
The fix was in the readme. under "tip:". I tried this before with out luck. Second time was a charm. I still believe I have user permission problems that neded ironed out.
