Seems to be difficult to get out of the Boinc screen saver after upgrading to Lion on a macBook. Once I used brute force and power cycled the next I waited patiently hitting the return key till I got the password prompt. Anyone else seeing this?

MacOs X Lion screen saver

Charlie Fenton, Mac developer for BOINC, has already noticed that:

It seems to work correctly under OS 10/7 lion in my tests so far. The only problem I have seen is that the screen saver is very slow to close when you move the mouse, click the mouse or press a key.

I will look into that issue in the next few days.

That was yesterday. He was writing about the new version in (early) testing, but I guess whatever he finds will apply to earlier versions too.

Seems like you can type the password even if the password screen isn't shown and it lets you in.
