I just upgrade my Boinc software with the 5.4.9 version before i use the 4.44 version but i have got a problem ; there is a duplication of my computer in the list of my computers i have two computer ID for the same computer how to combine them ?

http://einstein.phys.uwm.edu/hosts_user.php

If everything is the same except the BOINC version, there should be an option at the bottom of that page to merge them.

My G4/733 (OS 10.3.9, BOINC

My G4/733 (OS 10.3.9, BOINC 5.4.9) has completed four short WUs with v4.26. No errors: three valid results, one pending. This version is looking roughly one-third faster than v4.12, so the system’s hourly productivity is nearly up to where it was a couple of weeks ago: from around 20.6 credits in 3.7 hours (for 5.6 CS/h) to 14 credits in 2.7 hours (5.2 CS/h).

Thanks again, Bernd!

(27 000 seconds for a WU h1-1412,5 against 44 000 )

Thanks for this optimization.

The new 4.26 app is running fine on my old iMac 333MHz - 7 WU completed, 7 valid results, time decreased from 59300 cpusec to 31700 cpusec, a 47% reduction!

We just made this App the

We just made this App the official one for MacOS PPC. Thank you for your participation in this Beta Test! You may now remove the app_info.xml to swith back to the "auto update path".

I'll keep this thread sticky for some more days to collect reports of problems with this App (if there are any - so far everything looks fine in the DB, aside from a few download errors).

Shouldn't it be 4.28 for Intel? This is the PPC thread!
