TL04 that sounds like alot of work but you seem to have gotten thru it all successfully.
Yes, the longest part was getting Snow Leopard streamlined first, then getting El Capitan downloaded; which I couldn't do from the App Store, because Apple didn't recognize the "MAC" as a real MAC. So, a MAC friend re-downloaded it on his end, and we went through Skype for me to DL it to my system.
Once I had El Capitan, that only took 3 days to get perfected. :-) However, getting El Capitan downloaded over Skype took 7 Hours!!!!! :-O
Typing this, now, on Andromeda - El Capitan. :-) [EDIT:] Now that El Capitan is working, the App Store works, too. Apple sees this system as a true MAC 3,1. :-)

The only problem I see is that since Apple is a closed system, ie no clones, then they could send out an update that makes your system unusable and all this will have been for nothing. Apple does not have a good history of people 'hacking' their computers and them 'being okay' with it. In essence what you have done is build a 'clone' of one of their $1000US + machines that they are getting next to zero dollars in license fees for, they don't normally look favorably on that.

They actually get money from me buying Snow Leopard; with which, I started this project.
Posted on the Tonymacx86 site, states "...Apple already tried to shut this down, and failed. This project is legal...." Granted, I agree that Apple may/does NOT like the Hackintosh community; but, will have a harder time shutting them down.
Since the Hackintoshes ALL report legitimate Serial, and Product Numbers to Apple on the build of machine; Apple headquarters only sees what are "Real" MACs using MAC OS.
After getting mine set up with my Apple ID, I received e-Mail from Apple stating, "Your Apple ID has been used to sign into..."; and from my iPhone, "Your Apple ID has been used to sign into FaceTime and iMessage on a new MAC."
Now, will I ever call Apple Care for support on this "MAC"; NO, I won't. I will turn back to the community at Tonymacx86 Site that helped me create the system. Or, to MAC using friends... Or, to MACs for Dummies books...
As to new software; I can now buy off the shelf Apple software, again and install them to my MAC OS X El Capitan. This will generate more funds to Apple and their Vendors. One such product is TechTool Pro 8 for El Capitan; I will be saving my coins, and when I have the $99, I will be buying this piece of software for maintenance of the MAC OS. :-)

As always it's your choice since it's your pc. As for Apple wanting to shutdown the website, I personally don't think they put any effort into it, because they have FAR more resources than almost any user, or group of users, if they REALLY want to. As I said before have fun and crunch on!!
Hi Scott, Bill, David, Mikey, Chris, Tullio, Gary ....
... and I'm winning BTW. I seem to recall that the prize is a London Bus or something like that. Maybe the number off the bus, which would look cool on my study wall.
Cheers, Mike.
I have made this letter longer than usual because I lack the time to make it shorter ...
... and my other CPU is a Ryzen 5950X :-) Blaise Pascal
Morning mike and everybody. Yes the magic number is indeed a London red bus route and enough clues have been given earlier as to the number range it is in. The number is not too high so this doesn't drag on for too long. And I expect we can find a suitable picture for Mike's study wall.
Waiting for Godot & salvation :-)
Why do doctors have to practice?
You'd think they'd have got it right by now
