tring out some fans to get

tring out some fans to get rid of some heat from around the the Tesla card , 2 120mm fans mounted over the graphics and tesla card rack, and a new 120mm fan blowing in from the front of the case , 15min untill a new run of programs for the tesla , so 2 1/2 hours wait until that task is finnished and i can see if it made a differance

Why are you posting in the

Why are you posting in the "Validate errors" thread? Please open a new thread or look for one with an appropriate topic.

Your tasks end with "Exit status -1073741819 (0xffffffffc0000005)". Try googling it.

Gruß,
Gundolf

This is nothing to do with "Validate errors" so you should start your own thread and give as much detail about the problem as possible if you expect somebody to be able to give you meaningful assistance. So as not to further disrupt the "Validate errors" sticky thread, I'll create a new one and move all your posts and any responses there.

When you post a message about problems you are having, please be mindful of how you can make it as easy as possible for someone wishing to help. It's very good practice to clearly identify the host having the problem and to provide a direct link to the full results list for that host. A would be helper will be encouraged to take a look since it's now so easy to do so.

Remove it and see if the errors go away. That would be pretty conclusive.

It is good that you have copied two results entries from the online database but unless people are very familiar with the format of the table (without the aid of headings) they might not immediately recognise what the numbers actually are. I imagine you have pasted a couple of entries from the output you get from clicking on the 'tasks' link on your account page. Nobody else can see that page as you see it because your account page is private to you. In any case that tasks link gives you all the results for all your different hosts all mixed up together, not just the results from the problem host, so it's not the best way to view the problem results.

As it turns out, the third field from each line you posted contains the hostID so at least we can go find your list of computers and find the proper host in the list (you have five in total) and start the hunt from there. Once you have got the results list from the problem host, the next step is to click on the taskID of any failed tasks to see the error output that was returned to the server. As Gundolf suggested, there is a specific error code and it's very useful to google that code and browse through several pages of hits. There seems to be many examples of all sorts of situations where this particular code is being given, but on the third page I found a hit for this thread back in 2005 that I don't even remember participating in :-). It seems that the OP there was able to get the problem to go away by disabling the screensaver graphics.

I don't have a clue about DVBT cards but at least Wikipedia tells me it stands for Digital Video Broadcasting - Terrestial so I assume it is something to do with receiving something like freeview channels on your PC? Because of the graphics connection, it seems like this could be a possible candidate for your problems. Out of interest, I tried a google search for the error code combined with dvb-t and there are hits that possibly might be worth exploring. Way beyond my level of knowledge or interest, though :-).

Good luck with tracking down the problem.

Cheers,
Gary.

It's the same code as "exit code -1073741819 (0xc0000005)".

cooling didn't help its

cooling didn't help

its only one of the programs with errors " Global Correlations S5 HF search #1 v3.06 (S5GCESSE2) " so i rejected a load of them and have been running "Binary Radio Pulsar Search v1.07 (BRP3cuda32)" without any faults at all

only loaded this version of windows7 last week (full format) , and have updated the drivers as i installed the parts , thinking the one program has software hardware issues to my system , ill find it , lol , slowly

i dont think the DVBT ( TV card on pci 4x) card has anything to do with it now , "Global Correlations" were failing before it was installed , i have only just started crunching this week

ill let 1 global correlation slip in and process it an see if changing the ram sticks has helped

not a problem with ram ,swapped the 2x2gig with another computers, also pulled the DVBT , not there ether

this time i have killed the screen saver , will have to wait until this "job lot" of binaries is done and let another global Correlations run , ( 24hours )
