The Einstein screen saver only runs when an Einstein task is running. When an Einstein and WCG task are running together, the screen saver will change between the two projects every 10 minutes.

i went to my display properties and boinc isnt even listed in my screensaver any more...as long as the data gets crunched but it was nice to show the kids what this project was looking for as they are more visual than conceptual beings

You don't need the screensaver for that. Use the "Show graphics" button on the Tasks tab of BOINC manager. It is enabled when you highlight a running task.
