I had a WU
http://einsteinathome.org/workunit/42009718
which was on my pending credit a few hours ago and I can't see it on my computers task list now. Has it been validated and the credit awarded and then deleted from the list in that short period of time? As i write there are older tasks on the list so it seems strange especially as it doesn't look like it has been credited although I may well be wrong.
Thanks

Lost pending credit?
)
That workunit is no longer in the database which means that your quorum partner finally reported, credit was awarded and the unit deleted. If credit wasn't awarded for some reason, an extra task would have been created and the expanded quorum would have still been in the database until the extra result came back and was validated. Did you happen to notice how many tasks were in the quorum when it was still visible?
Your computers are hidden so it's not possible to look at any other tasks in your list unless you either unhide them or at least tell us the hostID for the host in question.

Gary.

Gary
Host ID is http://einsteinathome.org/host/1346303.
It may have been that I was looking at an old browser tab showing the WU and it has since been credited and deleted.
I just thought that as there are still older tasks (numerically by WU ID number) showing in the tasks for computers list then 42009718 should still show up.
No biggy

RE: Host ID is

I've made the link clickable so others can easily look at the results list
Not at all. Whilst some workunit IDs may indeed be older, that's not really important and has no bearing on the outcome. The thing that is important is when your wingman reported in. If you take a look at the older IDs you will see they went to a third host (ie became resends) and it won't be until several days after a validating report is received that the unit will finally be deleted. In a worst case scenario that could take months :-).

Gary.

Hi, I have many pending
)
Hi,
I have many pending unit that are waiting. Many mean more than 80 units for 5 very active computers (24h/24). Especialy one computer that had "error computer" for +/- 20 units (too much overclocking) and after this problem, all its units are waiting in a "pending status".
for this computer, it begin at :
--> http://einsteinathome.org/account/tasks&offset=60
For other computer, some units are old :
--> http://einsteinathome.org/task/101337475
Are those units lost ?
Many thanks
Hi! Results in state
)
Hi!
Results in state pending will not get lost, you'll receive the credits once a second computer has sent results for the same workunit so that both results can be validated against each other.
Some of the results you mentioned belong to the older S5R3 run, most of the Einstein@Home "workforce" has now moved on to the S5R4 run, so it may take some time until the last results from S5R3 are bvalidated, but still, nothing will get lost.
happy crunching
