I have noticed on ALL (3) of my machines, that I am taking longer to crunch and getting less 'cobblestones'?
For example, a long WU, which used to return in ~10 hours and return me 177 credits, is now taking ~14 hours and returning 120 credits!
This same return is being echoed across all my machines.

The (average) WU size has not increased. However it may vary a lot even between two "long" Workunits, so you may have gotten larger ones recently.
For the change of the credits, read the other threads as suggested. It was mainly due to new Apps for Windows and Linux.
For the Macs I just got a new set of Apps out of the door that will hopefully again narrow the gap the new Win/Lin Apps have opened. Read about them in the sticky threads of the Cruncher's Corner.

Thanks Bernd ... but they only refer to G5
My other 2, - G4 and MacBookPro are untouched.
Stupid question ... If as you say WU's have not increased how can it vary between 2 "long" WU's. Surely either they are the same size or they are not?
This still does not address the dramatic drop in credits delivered for MORE cpu time (ie MORE work).
Getting :-(( this end with the whole thing. Why should my computers suffer from something that is done for Windows and Linux.

Recheck the sticky threads and you will find a recently released G4 app (and I think also for G3) that should narrow the Mac-Win gap on your boxes.

Here ist the 4.26 I'd recommend for G4 (which actually runs on all Macs), and this is the thread for 4.28 for Intel Macs.
We haven't increased the WU size with time. There have alway been large variations, which you may not have noticed before. There has, however, been a decrease in the speed of the Mac Apps from 4.06 to 4.12 (read about that here) - but that was quite a while ago.
I strongly suggest to browse the discussion in the threads mentioned by Stick and continue it there if necessary.
