    What does the Db mean in USERS in DB.

    Is the new version for windows, version 4.25, is faster the old one, version 4.19. If so, I will download the newest verion.

      Db means 'database'...ie 'users in database' means the total number of registered people in the Einstein @ Home (E@H)system. Version 4.25 and 4.19 are different versions of the BOINC program and don't actually crunch the numbers for E@H so it won't make any difference which you use. The program that actually does the crunching is 'Einstein version 4.79'. BOINC is a comman program (middleware) that allows you to run other BOINC projects such as 'Seti@Home' or 'Predictor@Home' etc. on the same host computer at the same time ie. sharing the resources. Boinc ver. 4.25 has a different interface than 4.19 and has more flexibility but the E@H program runs at the same speed on both. I prefer 4.19 myself. Hope this helps. Cheers.
