Thanks. Have BOINC 64 bit.. need the Einstein software... or the source for it so I can build it myself..
SETI is already running on the machines in question under FC4_64. I just nee Albert 64-bit for the machines, since the project isn't sending any executables...

Alas, Einstein is not open source. So, you need to create an app_info.xml but I am unsure what goes in it, and then you need to manually download the 32 bit app of choice (there are some optimized ones, if you read over in Number Crunching, and how to download them).

Then I'll volunteer to build a 64 bit version for the community, on Linux x86_64.. who do I need to talk to?

If your programming skills are that good, you should have a talk with Bernd Machenschalk. He is currently working on an optimised client for different processors. Maybe you can integrate your code in his code.

Not a whit. Life blew up, and I gave up on it for the time being..
Maybe someone else has more leads on where to get a 64-bit binary for Linux.. who knows?
