Topic 188337

I am experiencing the following problem under Linux:

Einstein starts the computation for a work unit and gets about half of the unit done. But then the progress stops to increase, every time einstein is run, the CPU is completely idle and nothing appears to happen. For example work unit H1_1046.9_1047.1_0.1_T01_Test02_3 has stopped at 57.02% and has been at this point since 4 computing hours.

Can anyone help?

Hm, this Result has passed the deadline - the client should, I think, switch to another onw but apparently doesn't - try stopping and restarting the client.

It does not depend on the deadline, since I already reached this point on Friday. And stopping and restarting does not help either, my computer does not run 24/7, so I start the client every morning.

You were right. Restarting the client solves the problem. (I though einstein would have got its slice yesterday but in fact it did not). Thanks
