Hello,
I've some Macs with Debian installed around. Why do you not provide a Linux-PPC Application of Einstein@home? It couldn't be so hard, since a Mac-PPC one exists already!
The problem isn't the CPU, it's the the variety of library versions of Linux. It took us quite some time to figure out how to handle this for Linux/x86 and how to build sufficiently compatible Apps, but we neither have the time to develop nor the machinery to test such Linux compilation setups for other platforms. I could build an E@H App on a Linux/PPC machine, but without certain measurements it it's not necessary likely that it will run on yours.
