I just had to cancel all O1 WU's so I am sorry to my wingperson. For some odd reason my laptop CPU is deciding that these workunits should TDP Throttle and leave it in a state that runs forever. I use ThrottleStop to manually set the multiplier. When these WU's are suspended multiplier is 24x, however when the task starts or anything that put strain on the CPU it throttles down to 17x then 10x the weird thing is the temp isn't high, 40C and power usage is ~5W when this CPU can theoretically go upto 15W

What do you use to measure CPU temperature and power?
This might be because of DPTF power limiting or AVX power capping.
I suggest to use the latest version of HWiNFO to see what exactly is happening there, it should also be able to provide you the dynamic power limiting values which can change based on other factors like skin temperature.

Its showing nothing abnormal.

Its showing nothing abnormal. Might be the AC adaptor dying.......

edit also I use hwmonitor for temps, etc

If HWiNFO shows you Power

If HWiNFO shows you Power Limit 1/2 values you might want to have a look at those to see whether they are changing. HWMonitor won't show you those.
Perhaps attaching a screenshot of HWiNFO sensors might reveal something...

Well here they are! I still think my adaptor is failing

edit as you can see power limit 1 and 2 are 25W for a short duration, but when I start a WU it immediately throttles

I've just replaced the

I've just replaced the adaptor and it seems to not throttle anymore. So I believe the old adaptor will go in the bin now. :) And I am now crunching those 100F tasks
