Yes! That did it! Except I had to put the new host id in place of the old one.
...when I did the upgrade, I had saved the folder for backup. After the upgrade, the project got reset and downloaded a bunch of new WUs. Since I didn't want to drop all the old WUs, I saved the new folder, then restored the old one. I finished out the old WUs (except the final one) then restored the 'new' folder and went forward from there...except I couldn't merge the hosts.

Try updating the second account and change the email address to the first one.
Worst that could happen...Get locked out of both accounts? Maybe not such a good idea...your choice.

If you mean two different Einstein@Home accounts, it can probably not be done. (or may be the Einstein people can do something?)
If you mean you used a different e-mail address for Einstein then you used for the other projects, it is easy: just change the Einstein e-mail address to the other one. It will take one or two days to get the CrossProject ID's to get the same but then you have one account for all projects. (you can also update all projects to speed up things)
For this to happen you need to run at least one other project next to Einstein on the same PC.
This is not some special trick, it is intended to work like this. :-)

The fourth post is talking about separate projects, and at first glance has reasonable instructions for this.
If you have two accounts for the same project, you cannot merge them. I don't think that there is any way to fool the system into merging them as you have to modify the DB on the project server.

Ah, that's what I originally thought but I was being persuaded that it could be done. ;)

Well, I've got that done now...whew!
Thanks.
