I have an account on S@H, E@H, and ProteinPredictor and I'm wondering how I can merge these accounts. I have already sent results under each account from the same computer but still my cross-project id remains different from every one. The e-mail I used for each account is slightly different (I have a gmail address so I use +seti, +einstein, and +proteinpredictor)...

That's the problem.
email has to be the same, afaik even up to cases (Me-[at]-There.Com != ), as they are hashed in the CPID.

so if you change the email on

so if you change the email on all projects to one and the same, the cpid will eventually be the same on them all (it will take some time though before the cpid will be fully syncronized)

You won't lose credits ;) just go to your account page on each of the projects, and click on edit by the email address. That should do the trick. Your accounts will remain, with every other info/settings intact

okay, I have just changed my e-mail address and verified it to one and the same on all the projects and yet the CPID is still different...

am I supposed to wait until some update or the next time I send a report or something?

oh and I hadn't noticed previously the edit link under the e-mail address...

Yes, and they may be for a bit longer. Note though, that not all projects display the same type of cpid on the account page - some display the external cpid, some display the internal cpid.

Sometimes it can take up to a couple of days - depending on connections to the servers. But they will eventually be syncronized :)

Me neither, until I actually needed to change it :)
