My "stats" are falling, and I seem to have increasing numbers of inconclusive results, is there a validation issue I've missed somewhere ?

TIA

Don't think so.

This is a classic example of a query that most people would probably avoid answering. You have composed a one line query that gives absolutely no details to describe your "problem". At least you could have linked to the particular host that you are concerned about to save having to trawl through all hosts in your list. Better still, why not link to the taskID of several examples to allow us to easily find and look into exactly what is concerning you?

I've just looked through around 10+ pages of results for each of your two fastest machines and I can see plenty of "pendings" (waiting for validation) but a fairly small number of "pendings" (validation inconclusive). Do you understand the difference between these two? Have you looked into the quorums of any that are listed as "inconclusive" to see which host actually caused this? I looked into this one and this one and then gave up because it takes a while and you should be doing this yourself. Both of those examples show that it was your wingman that had a "validate error", so nothing to do with your host. There is a sticky thread about validate errors that has been running for a couple of years. If you have a look at the most recent entries in that thread you will see that this message reporting validate errors actually led to a bug being discovered and corrected in the validator.

As you check out your own tasks, you may see examples of validate errors either in the results of your wingmen or even in your own results. If you are seeing quite a few, perhaps you could report them in the sticky thread. If the two above examples of "inconclusives" that I've given are not really what you were talking about in your opening message, perhaps you might like to come back with specific examples if you think something else is wrong?

Cheers,
Gary.

As a relative novice,I rely

As a relative novice,I rely on statistics to indicate trends.
Someone like yourself with a far greater depth of understanding can see problems far more easily than I could in a week of squinting...

My worry was that it seemed as if one GTX 460 was producing inconclusive results whilst the other was fine. Both are running around 45 degrees so it isn't a heat issue. Both run at the std clock speed and both are relatively new.

I will endeavour to monitor my "wing-men" and my own results for "trends" in the future.

Thanks for your valuable feedback !
