Hello! Strange. iMac (2012, OS X ML 10.8.4) goes to sleep even if it's 100% busy with E@H 100%.
PC does not.
Any thoughts?
Do you have the Energy Saver settings in System Preferences set to "Never" for computer sleep?
Plus SETI Classic = 21,082 WUs
U mean PC? No. PC just wouldn't go to sleep if it's busy until task has ended. It seems logical.
But my iMac goes to sleep regardless of it's processors load - it sleeps if no user activity is present. I find this illogical.
It may seem illogical, but if you try it (on your iMac) it may solve your problem.
A PC (Windows) will sleep no matter how many tasks are active if there is no keyboard or mouse activity (user input). When running BOINC projects I always have to set "Never sleep".
It appears that your iMac behaves the same.
