I have 3 computers, two with the same name. (I reinstalled the the operating system)
I'm not able to merge two computers: 86439, 425794.
It looks like a bug.
From the "Computer summary" page I click on "merge this computer" and I get the "Merge host" page. However the list is totally empty.
Suggestions?

Looks like an e was left off "type", so just Wait until results for unused CPU are at zero and then delete it....

First of all the last contact with the "old" computer was on "30 May 2005".
BTW I don't want to delete it... I wish to merge it as I did some months ago.
The bug/problem is: in the "Your computers" page I have 3 computers BUT in the "Merge host" page the list is totally empty.
Gosh! You right! I did not

Gosh! You right! I did not understand what you mean when you said "an e was left off type". I was looking in my message...
Anyway, here is the mispelling:
Computer 86439 --> "AuthenticAMD Unknown CPU Typ"
Computer 425794 -> "AuthenticAMD Unknown CPU Type"
The problem came from a bios update. At this point never mind, I will keep the third computer...
Sorry for the misunderstanding and thanks for the help.

RE: I have 3 computers, two

I've merged computers in the past and I know you can merge even when there are small differences. In fact you can even merge similar computers that are actually physically different bits of hardware, as long as they are very similar specifications and as long as the one being merged is no longer crunching and effectively has been replaced by the newer one.
In this case I suspect you may be having problems because you are trying to merge 425794 into 86439, is that correct? My recollection is that you have to merge the older CPUID (ie 86439) which has no current results into the newer one (ie 425794) which has a list of current work.
Can you please try again by clicking the merge function on the page for 86439 and let us know how you go? Thanks.
Cheers,
Gary.
Great, I just tried and it

Great, I just tried and it worked!
Now (finally!) in the "Merge host" page of 425794 I was able "to see" the 86439 AND in the "Merge host" page of 86439 I was able "to see" the 425794.
There probably was a temporary problem... anyway thank you a lot for the support!
Happy computing!
What can I say... I noticed

What can I say... I noticed my bios now reports again "Unknown cpu typ". :)
