More evidence Politicians are idiots! As if they had the power to actually do that. They need to get to work finding ways to create jobs for the hundreds of thousands of people in Illinois that don't have them and find ways to save their family farms too! Pluto has been relegated to nothing more than a dog in Walt Disney's imagination!
I really do hope that nobody tries to force re-printing of physics/astronomy school books there :-)

Nothing like the truth to spoil a good show in front of the cameras, and grandstanding to give pupils a poor factual education. And that's just in the \UK. looks like some states in the US like to grandstand on subjects they know nothing about. But, that's the reason they are politicians.
