BOINC doesn't seem to have decided to ask GPUGRID, Collatz Conjecture, or PrimeGrid for any GPU workunits yet, leaving me with no GPU workunits to run.
I found a way to get BOINC to request more GPU workunits from other projects. Just suspend the entire Einstein@Home project, and it will do it. When you get enough GPU workunits, resume the Einstein@Home project so that it will be able to run the Einstein@Home workunits if it ever finishes downloading them.
If you feel a need for GPU workunits, you might try what I now do.
Sign up for Collatz Conjecture, PrimeGrid, or both, set them to send GPU workunits only, and give them a resource share of 0 so that you'll only get workunits from them when Einstein@Home can't send any. Their GPU card requirements are about the lowest I've found.
Not able to upload/download any non-GPU wu's from Glasgow either.
Is there no way to use one of the other servers or does this work off the clients IP address ?
I presume the glasgow server affects this

I can't tell. But something is keeping me from uploading or downloading workunits also.
The server status web page gives these warnings:
Warning: file_get_contents(http://einstein-dl.aei.uni-hannover.de/server_status.txt): failed to open stream: Connection timed out in /raida/BOINC/projects/EinsteinAtHome/html/user/eah_server_status.php on line 263

The connection to Milkyway@Home is also down.

Hi Thanks for letting me

Hi
Thanks for letting me know i'm not the only one.
One slight problem is that for gpu work units I only do einstein.
GPU grid specs are a wee bit high for me and no pennies for a new graphics card.

Ditto:
failure of all uploads and downloads
I have
6 x downloads in progress
6 x uploads in progress
1 x in processing
3 x waiting ready to start
The 12 WU are recorded as uploading and downloading but all stand at 0% progress

I did look at the news at the time but nothing had been posted.
Have a good one and fly safe.
