What does the white disc (peace sign in a white circle)represent? It's not explained in the "screensaver info" and I've tried looking it up using several different search engines but I guess they all suck ass - or else I do when it comes to using them

If one looks downwards upon the Aricebo dish in Puerto Rico, then you see the circular dish outline and three radial struts that hold up the central receiver. That's from where we get much of our data for the radio-pulsar searches, Parkes being the other.
It's our fault that we haven't included an explanation for that ( I know a bloke who is reviewing that whole area currently ).
