Topic 188711

Hi, my computer has two projects (SETI and Einstein) and it hasn't downloaded no work from one week. I think the problem is I had some workunits that cross deadline but now I reset the two projects and no work is still downloaded.

I can't work

As you host is hidden, quite difficult to say what is the problem.

Can you post some relevant message(s)?

Sorry. You're right. I forgot to post some useful information:
- I'm on Windows
- My account number is 33749 on Einstein and 7833187 on Seti
- I tried to detach project Einstein and still don't have work to do

Is more info needed?

Thanks.

Yes please.

If you open tab "Messages" of Boinc, what do you find as errors. Please ad them to your post.

Or unhide your PC.

How can I unhide my

How can I unhide my computer?

You can unhide your PC by going here which is under "Your account", E@H settings.

As for your problem, it looks like a problem related to general preferences setting as your host is not requesting work.

You might want to go to the General preferences and "Network usage" "Connect to network about every xx days and check if this can not be increased like to 1 day.

After that you need to go to the tab "Project", right click on E@H and choose update.

Good luck.
