I am new @ einstein and seti plz explain

Hello Jason!

1) All very easy - you have a computer, that can do more work than do. And Einstein@Home and SETI@home client programs take a "free power" of you computer.
For you need only install this programs on you computer and give to its a time for working.
2) Today for many projects of distributed computing used a uniform platform - BOINC.
3) If someone wants to take a participating in "BOINC project", (Einstein@Home for example), he must installing BOINC and attach to project.
4) For attaching to project, for you need create account (that you already made), and after run of BOINC, choose "Settings" -> "Attach to project...", in field "Project URL" enter the URL of project site (for E@H - http://einstein.phys.uwm.edu/), in field Account ID enter value of Account Key that you must receive on e-mail.
5) After all, BOINC connect to project server, download the chunk of data, receive first task from scheduler and start computing.

Good luck!
