Reviewing the firewall rules established on my system, I've noticed that hsgamma_FGRP1_0.23_windows_intelx86.exe has phoned home to 129.89.61.70
BOINC.exe phones home to the various project host / download servers, Berkely.edu & Google; BOINCmgr.exe phones home to Berkely.edu & symbol servers; Individual BOINC project app's have never phoned anywhere but symbol servers & Berkely.edu
Moreover, that's the ONLY app that's ever asked for any additional internet access permissions. My firewall rules have been defined for nearly two years now, and BOINC's been fat dumb and happy with only BOINC.exe needing permission to access 129.89.61.70
So what's up with this?

Hi!
I understand that the newer version of BOINCmgr have an RSS newsreader built in, so that explains the phoning home of BOINCmgr.
As for the app, I suspect that it might be downloading its own symbol stores if needed from "home".
