I am wondering how is the recent average credit is calculated by the Einstien@Home. Even though my Total credit goes up -the recent average keeps fluctuating. Whats the reason?

Go to the front page of the message boards and click on the keyword search link. Type in the string recent+average+credit and proceed to read all about it.
There is also information in the FAQ and there is a link on the FAQ page to Paul Buck's excellent documentation website where you will find detailed information on all you could ever wish to know about this and any other subject in the BOINC universe :).
