Yesterday I reinstalled BOINC & einstein@home on several machines. 3 of the 5 have now submitted results but only those from one machine show up on my account page.
Any idea how long it is between results being submitted and them appearing. I don't mind if an 11 hour delay is expected but I don't like the thought that they are disappearing into a black hole.

How long before results are credited
)
It depends on when your wingman reports his results. For example: the bottom of the current crop of WUs you are crunching on your Quad has already had your wingman report. This means he is waiting on you. In many cases the pending credit can stay as pending for a long time (up to a month, in my experience).
Shih-Tzu are clever, cuddly, playful and rule!! Jack Russell are feisty!
Ahhh, I didn't drill down far

Ahhh, I didn't drill down far enough. I had expected it to show up on the "pending" list if I had submitted it and my wingman hadn't. Examining individual tasks shows they have arrived ok.
Now I can sleep peacefully.
Thanks
Ahhh, looking further there
)
Ahhh, looking further there still seems to be an issue. Computer 1686763 has downloaded 6 units and, according to the client, completed and uploaded 4 of them. All of these are still flagged as in-progress on my system despite having been submitted (two of them around midnight).
Client messages log does not show any problems and the firewall is set to BOINC permit all.
RE: Ahhh, looking further

Hi! result submission is a 2-step process:
First, results are uploaded which is basically an FTP like operation: just file transfer, not much server side logic or DB access needed.
The second step is result reporting. After the client reports the results it had uploaded earlier, the database is updated and the server side processing/validation/assimilation .... whatever is triggered. Only after reporting, the result is no longer displayed as "in progress" on the web GUI.
There can be considerable delay between BOINC uploading and reporting results, the rationale for this is that under favorable conditions many results can be pooled in one scheduler request which is more efficient than several individual scheduler requests.
Pressing the "UPDATE" button in the BOINC manager GUI will force a report of any already updated result.

Thanks for the clarification.

Thanks for the clarification. I tried the update button and now see the expected results.
Now I'll go back to ignoring it and let the software sort out the most efficient time to do its own updating :)
