Our team has got a brand new member, who has some questions on downloading EAH new work units. These questions he has asked me as a founder of the team and an administrator of our forum. I have tried to help him, but I have no experience on the subject.

As my RAC in EAH is 0 I can not ask questions in Cruncher's Corner on his behalf. His English skills are poor.

Is his RAC of 13 high enough to ask questions there? I can then translate his question into English and E-M it to him, so he can ask the question in CC.

Phew!

I scanned through a few other postings in Crunchers Corner and found one person with just '1' credit RAC. So going on this your new member and even yourself should be able to post.

No. I tried yesterday and again today to post in Cruncher's Corner. As my RAC is "0" I can *not* post there.

Well, I must at it: translating the member's Danish question into English, then e-m the translation to him, so he can copy and paste it into the appropriate forum here.

I hope we are not loosing him or he looses interest in BOINC during this tiresome operation.

I think I lost him. It is my experience that new BOINCers tend to stop at obstacles. Maybe he *will* pop up here, though. I will keep an eye on new posts here.

Like Michael suggested, just post here in Danish and translate. I'm willing to try to help. If I can't help, then quite a few people from Cruncher's Corner frequent the Help Desk area. As such, I really don't think your idea of a "faster response time if I were able to post there" is true.

FWIW...

Okay. I will tell him if he mails me again.
