How to change user name

    Hi,

     

    it seems that while creating a boinc wide team my einstein@home account was created on a wrong username earlier. Any idea if this could be fixed? I guess this could be preventing me from editing my team.

      Yes, it can be fixed/changed.

      Just make sure you click on "save changes" at the lower left of the page when finished.

        Thanks GWGeorge007, it's fixed now (for some reason it was grayed out earlier).
        Anyways, still cannot edit my team. I requested foundership, so I guess I'll just wait 59 days more.

          Glad it worked for you, though you hadn't mentioned that it was "grayed out" before now.

          I've never requested foudership before, so I don't know if there is a wait time to the current founder for a reply.  By your comment, it would appear to be 60 days.  If no answer from the existing founder by then, then the founder of the team would appear to be you.
