... on a different web server?

During the last few project outages when the people running the hardware turn the switch off the entire project is offline and there is virtually NO information about how long it's going to be down.

It would be nice if you would put a single, no grapic, HTML page up somewhere away from your main hardware with just some text on it saying why the project is down and when you expect it back up.

Right now, with the single-point failure design, the only information I can find is on the front page when the project is back up.

During last outage, servers like boincstats.com, who do general boinc news, had the notes about what's going on supplied by project staff. So I would not worry... :)
