The download of the config file and hostname [einstein.aei.mpg.de] seems sus to me
If you have a look at your
)
If you have a look at your results list you can see a number of useful things. Click on the various ResultIDs to see the following:-
1. You have been working with the large data file w1_0485.5
2. You are changing to a new large data file l1_0863.5
3. The initial letter in the filename has changed so you will need a new config file.
4. To spread the load there are a number of different download servers that could supply what you need.
5. You got one in Germany but it initially didn't respond (temporary glitch).
6. Soon afterwards the download was tried again and was successful this time.
7. One result was trashed because of the glitch (but no problem for you) and you now have 2 more good ones.
8. The 2 good ones are for the new large data file so all seems fine.
9. BOINC is designed to be fault tolerant and it "chats" to you quite a bit about things going on in the background.
If you want to understand this chat, there is a huge repository of message explanations in the Wiki. Just type in keywords for messages you want to know about into the search box.
Cheers,
Gary.
Thanks for the explanation

Thanks for the explanation Gary I didnt realize that they are using other servers, that's what had me a little concerned.
